With mixed emotion this is the last post for LondonCity. I will be leaving on Sunday for an awfully big adventure, one which take me around the world to new places, new people, and certainly new experiences. Doubtless there will be many photo opportunities along the way, but as this marks a new and very different chapter in my life I kinda feel like drawing a close to this blog. Over the past year the posts have become sporadic at best so I think maybe if I find I'm in a position to start posting again that I will start a new one. Thank you for following along, there have been many kind comments over the past four years and I've thoroughly enjoyed finding photos for you to look at. If you'd asked me when I moved here how many pictures I thought would be posted I probably would have guessed about 100, now there are 6 times that. I'd love to know if you have any favourites. For me there are 5 that I really enjoy: the picture of a pigeon looking like he's on his way to work, the one of a cross in the corner of a church yard, the two sheep standing on a hill, a beautiful face done in graffiti, and that mountain pass between italy and switzerland. The memories will last a lifetime. Anyway, wish me luck, I'm going to need it. xo tk

While I was in Brighton I took part in a photowalk, which is this massive international thing where 20-50 people walk around a city taking photos then upload them and chimp over each other (where you look at each others photos and go "oo oo oo" like a chimp). Basically it's a bunch of huge camera nerds socialising. Annnnyway, one of the tasks was a point of view challenge. I don't like tasks. So here's is my knee's point of view. Must be boring being my knees.

Saw about a million VW wagons that had all congregated on the beach in Brighton. Neat group. Very diverse. Perfect day for it too, a record 29C on the first of October.

Heat Wave

Last week we had a mini heat wave. When this happens Britons run outside and soak up as much of the good times as possible. So I did the same. Went to the beach. Took some photos. Here they are for you!

What a nice town that was. This weekend will be exciting, I have a pistol shoot on Friday and Saturday, then Sunday off to Canada for 10 days. Such a jet setter!!

The very lovely Uzes on a Saturday morning at the market. Not one for crowds I didn't venture much farther into the masses. I did, however, enjoy a very nice coffee and honey bun. Back next year I think.
